In the marginalia of the Latin Necronomicon the name The Cthulhu Cycle appears beside tides, eclipses, or breeding cycles we cannot reproduce in laboratory glass.

No sober cartographer places The Cthulhu Cycle on a map mortals may buy; nevertheless, deeds, drownings, and dreams cluster where the name is whispered.

Lovecraft's own prose — when he is the witness — should be read in the /library before this summary is trusted.
